Planning any event in late June in the South of England was always going
to be a challenge. Frith has some nice areas which are not too infested
with the dreaded Bracken and I hope that you all managed to run in
those areas for the majority of your race. From the comments we
received it appears that everyone enjoyed the outing and we even
managed to arrange some fine weather even if it was a bit on the warm
side.
My thanks to all those who helped ensure that the day went smoothly
and that I was not left on my own to set and recover all the controls -
thanks guys.
Finally my thanks to Sarah for stepping in as organiser at the last minute
and having to cope with such things as loosing half the car park.

To all that had a go at doing the "restricted" class thanks - I hope it
added another element to the score race. Maybe for some of the more
experienced fitter orienteers it added the dimension of having to
decided rather than running a score where the decision is not what but
which way around to run to get them all. If it looked like you had only
picked up 50 point controls at the end I put you on the restricted class,
otherwise you should find yourself in the open
