Southern Navigators do all types of events from local to international a picture of the
progression of events can be seen at the British Orienteering Event Guide. The
progression through the colours is similar to the principal used in martial arts as
participants start at white belt progressing through to black.
SN's Saturday series of events offer four courses open to everyone, because of
their initial focus on the Junior League the blue is reduced in length and locally called
a "Light Blue" course.
Most of Southern Navigators events will have an enquires point or a computer
registration tent - newcomers are always welcome and encouraged to drop by and
explain they are first timers and we will aim to help your introduction be as pleasant
as possible.
