SN are invited to join BKO's training event this week
Meet at the car park for the Great Holland recreation ground in the far SW of the area.
Car park is on South Drive, off Nine Mile Ride, grid ref SU852662, RG40 3DN, what3words ideas.push.maps.

Typical urban area. 3 courses, distances are actual (optimal)
Short, 1.7km, completely within the park area and suitable for juniors.
Medium, 3.4km, Long, 6.1km. Both cross busy roads and are not suitable for unaccompanied juniors.
No kites or markers except on the Junior course which may have mini kites. All controls within the urban area are located at lampposts, if anyone wants to run the old fashioned way I have the list of numbers on the posts.
Starts from 6.30 or a bit earlier if everything is ready.

After forest orienteering, please check thoroughly for ticks and remove immediately if you find them. Lyme Disease is on the increase in the South East!
