The park has toilets and a cafe. These may be closed
Shadowing and Family Groups:
Due to the extreme constraints imposed by Forestry England on numbers participating, shadowing of individuals and family groups taking part together will not be permitted. That said, there are excellent permanent courses at Alice Holt providing white, yellow, long yellow, orange, light green and score course options - maps can be made available to families and novice competitors who require shadowing. You are strongly encouraged to return to orienteering using this facility - just not on Saturday 5th December please as we do not wish to jeopardise our future relationship with Forestry England by flooding the forest with unofficial orienteers when we are holding our first event. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.
There will not be a large bill for helpers, however some individuals will be asked to assist in the smooth running of the event. These have to come from within the 30 designated participants for each event. Details to follow
