Course Information

A "corridor" course of approx 5km which becomes increasingly challenging from beginning to end - follow the route within the corridor in order to visit the marked checkpoints. Short-cuts are possible, and full maps will be available for the less confident!

The map is a 1:4,000 version of the Goldsworth Park map used for the urban event in August.

The route is across playing fields initially, then on paved surfaces all the way.

Registration & Start Times

Starts from 6.15pm. All to finish by 8.00pm.

  • There are no crossings of through roads, but there could be slow-moving traffic in residential areas. Please wear something bright for your own safety.
  • A headlamp/torch is recommended for some short unlit stretches (and to be able to see the map clearly between streetlights!).
  • There is a deep lake in the centre of the map - it should be obvious, even in the dark, but the banks are steep and slippery in places.
