Our junior team of over 20 runners finished 4th in the delayed 2020 final of the Yvette Baker Trophy at Westonbirt Arboretum on 4th July. Thank you to Mel and others for marshalling the team, and to the juniors themselves for their great team spirit and clear enjoyment of the occasion.
Training and social activities
Thank you to the more than 60 members who responded - the survey is now closed. The Club paid the required fee to ensure that we can see ALL responses to the survey (contrary to what was implied in SNaggers). The Committee will review the full range of responses and decide whether to make any changes to our training activity schedule. For the time being weekly summer training remains on Wednesday evenings unless the web site details specifically state otherwise.
Get your orienteering fix with a selection of Solo-O and MapRunF courses for you to complete at your own pace and in your own time. SN reminds all members of the club and O community that any participation should be done totally in line with the current restrictions regarding COVID-19.
National guidelines say that "If you need to travel you should stay local – meaning avoiding travelling outside of your village, town or the part of a city where you live".

To quote our Chairman Alan, "we're not out of the woods yet (or even in them!)". Stay safe and look forward to 2021. Read more below.
SN area in Tier 4
Following the imposition of Tier 4 Covid restrictions on Surrey and most of Hampshire with effect from 26th December the SN Committee had no choice but to postpone the event.
It is also clear that we cannot hold any meaningful Club Championship event while any substantial part of the club's membership finds itself in Tier 3/4 areas with travel restrictions.
