SN Chair awarded Bonington Trophy 2023
The Bonington Trophy was donated to British Orienteering by its Honorary President, Sir Chris Bonington, the world-famous mountaineer. It is awarded annually for the 'best contribution to mapping' which can cover a whole range of activities related to mapping.

Jane Archer, 1954-2024
Jane passed away on 6 February 2024, a sad and premature loss to the world of orienteering and beyond. She had been a member of SN for over 35 years, supporting the club in many ways throughout that period. Always helpful, calm and quietly effective - she will be much missed by those who knew her.

Call for Runners
Please reply to the email (13 Jan) from Team Captain if you wish to run in any or all of Compass Sport Cup heat (18 Feb), JK Relays (1 Apr) or British Relays (14 Apr). Further details of events and entry deadlines are in the email. Entries will be partly subsidised by the club.
You need to be a paid-up 2024 BO/SN member to be eligible to run in any of these events, and to qualify for any subsidy offered. If you have not yet renewed your membership please do so before responding.
